Elena Mazinani began her career in 1998 working in courts and tribunals, gaining early exposure to the legal system and courtroom advocacy. She earned her Law Degree (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa in 2008, and is currently an LL.M. candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School, specializing in Litigation and Dispute Resolution.

Elena has practiced family law exclusively since 2009, representing clients across Ontario and internationally in complex matters of custody, support, and property. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario — including the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and Court of Appeal. With over a thousand successfully handled cases, she is recognized for her strategic, firm, yet fair approach in both negotiation and litigation.

Her extensive experience in high-net-worth divorce cases has equipped her with the skills to analyze complex financial issues, including business valuations, income determination, and asset tracing across jurisdictions.

Elena is fluent in English, Spanish, Farsi, and Dari, allowing her to effectively represent a diverse clientele. She is an active member of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association and the Iranian Canadian Legal Professionals (ICLP), contributing regularly to the family law community.

In addition to her legal career, Elena is an entrepreneur and investor with a strong passion for innovation and technology. She is currently developing a tech-based startup in the legal industry, focused on modernizing client-lawyer interactions and improving access to family law services through digital transformation.
